Caitlin Clark has etched her name into WNBA history with an unprecedented performance, becoming the first player in league history to record at least 40 points and 10 assists in a single game. Leading the Indiana Fever to a thrilling 110-107 victory over the Seattle Storm at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Friday night, Clark delivered a career-high 45 points in just 29 minutes of action. This milestone performance also set a new single-game scoring record for the Fever franchise.

The 24-year-old guard’s efficiency was remarkable, as she connected on 11 of 18 field goal attempts, including six of 10 from beyond the arc. Demonstrating an aggressive offensive approach, Clark also set career highs from the free-throw line, converting 17 of her 19 attempts. Beyond her scoring, she contributed 10 assists, four steals, and two blocks, sealing the win with a clutch step-back three-pointer and four consecutive free throws in the final 17 seconds of the fourth quarter.

This historic night arrived alongside another significant milestone, as Clark became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 200 career three-pointers. She achieved the feat in just 74 games, eclipsing the previous record of 81 games held by Katie Smith.
